The UBC Global Reporting Centre and Liu Institute are pleased to offer a private workshop on evaluating impact with Karen Snyder, former Director of Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation at Free the Slaves. Dr. Snyder has more than 20 years of experience improving policies and practices in anti-trafficking, health and the environment.
We plan to hold an invitation-only workshop on Wednesday, April 25th, from 9 AM to 11 AM PDT (4 PM – 6 PM GMT), which will be live-streamed to invited participants around the world. Dr. Snyder will start by presenting an introduction to evaluating impact – including a discussion of why and how to design, conduct and use the results to demonstrate how your work is making a difference. She will then use three projects from participants as case studies to demonstrate how to go about evaluating and reporting impact for knowledge mobilization, securing new or additional funding and influencing policy. She will then open up for questions from attendees.
If you’d like to participate, please email [email protected] by March 30th with your name and affiliation, and note if you would like your project to be considered for one of the case studies.
