Kevin Patterson is a novelist and journalist from British Columbia, Canada. He has won the Roger Writers’ Trust prize for fiction and has written about war, tuberculosis, escapism, and acculturation. He also practices medicine in Nunavut on the west coast of Hudson Bay and in the ICU in Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island. He has sailed across the Pacific Ocean in a concrete boat a few times.
