Mr. Harold Munro
Editor-in-Chief, Vancouver Sun and Province newspapers

Harold Munro studied journalism at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, then took a job at a newspaper in Terrace BC, before returning to the coast in 1986 to join the Vancouver Sun as a general assignment reporter. He began by covering high school sports, then graduated to civic affairs in Surrey and regional affairs in Metro Vancouver. With experience came promotions, first to Assistant City Editor, then in quick succession City Editor, Chief News Editor, and Deputy Managing Editor. Finally in 2012 he assumed the role of Editor-in-Chief at the Sun, adding editorship of the other Vancouver daily, The Province, to his portfolio in 2016.
