We all want to be seen, right?
Journalism is a team sport, and so much of what you see is built on work behind the scenes.
That’s where we come in. Much of what the Global Reporting Centre does is behind the scenes. You could be reading our feature stories, watching our documentaries, listening to our podcasts, and you may not even know it.

Our centre is built on a foundation of collaboration. We partner with national and international news organizations, including The Narwhal, CBC News, NBC News, The Globe and Mail, and Al Jazeera. We help to make sense of these challenging times — the rise of autocracy, global supply chain breakdowns, the proliferation of misinformation and disinformation, and safety issues with our rail lines.
By working together we build capacity in newsrooms across the globe — during a time when funding is tight and news outlets are shuttering.
We also mentor journalists that you read, watch, and listen to. We have hired and trained more than 80 student journalists, to help the next generation of journalists get professional experience.
As we approach the end of 2025, I want to thank you for seeing the value in what we do. Please help us as we continue to support the work of journalists across the country and across the globe.
