Michelle comes from a communications background where she worked in both the non-profit and private sectors. She completed her bachelor’s in communication studies at Concordia University, graduating with honours in 2016. After graduating, she worked as a copywriter at a marketing company. Michelle then completed a public information consultancy for the UN Migration Agency in Accra, Ghana, via the UNA-Canada’s International Development & Diplomacy Internship Programme. Michelle is currently entering into the second year of her journalism master’s degree at the UBC School of Journalism, Writing and Media. She is looking forward to completing an internship at CBC’s headquarters this summer.
