The Global Reporting Centre is pleased to co-sponsor a talk by Alberto J. Mora, Senior Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School’s Carr Center for Human Rights Policy.
Alberto Mora was a leading critic of Bush-era “enhanced interrogation” methods used during the war on terror. Speaking out against the use of torture on detainees at Guantanamo Bay, Mora provided one of the key interviews in the Academy Award-winning documentary Taxi to the Dark Side and was honored with the 2006 Profile in Courage Award. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and hear from a leading voice of dissent in Bush Administration on torture.
