Farid Rohani is a businessman, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a champion for multicultural understanding and human rights. He was a founding member and is the immediate past Chair of the Laurier Institution. Rohani has served on the Royal Canadian Mountain Police (E-Division) Commanding Officers Diversity Advisory Committee, the Scouts Canada British Columbia Diversity Committee, on the Steering Committee of the Vancouver Dialogues Project and on the Lower Mainland Campaign Cabinet of Vancouver Island University. Rohani also publishes widely on immigration, multiculturalism, diversity and ethics. He now manages his family’s Vancouver-based development and real estate holding company.
