Scott McIntyre is the co-founder, and recently retired Publisher and CEO of the Canadian book-publishing house Douglas & Mcintyre. His career has also embraced more than 40 years of government relations, industry association work, and membership on a variety of cultural and social boards. Scott holds an honorary Doctor of Laws from SFU, and is a member of the Order of Canada. His contributions to Canadian publishing have been recognized by a Queen’s Golden Jubilee medal in 2002, and her Diamond Jubilee medal in 2012.
